The New High School
Carmel's new Elsa High School is proof of the remarkable journey of progress the school has traveled in recent years. It reflects the commitment of our entire community and provides our students with the tools, resources, and support required to become leaders in an ever-changing world.
The new campus is bright and inspiring. The learning environment has been carefully planned to provide a rich and distinctive educational experience. Carmel's strong traditions in conjunction with the most advanced technologies allow both students and teachers to work together in a unique learning environment.
The facilities are state-of-the-art with the full range of resources required to support a 21st century educational experience, including a 500-seat auditorium/sports centre and an all-weather astro-turf playing field. There are three superb science labs, a visual arts centre, a dedicated music suite and all classrooms are fitted with smartboards and visualizers.
PARTNER SCHOOL – Premises are shared with Kellett, the British International School in Hong Kong. This partnership is advantageous in that it provides two like-minded schools, with similar values and aspirations, the opportunity to expand into secondary education. Sharing the renovation and fit-out costs allows both schools to benefit from the most up-to-date facilities, equipment and furniture. In addition, the extended student body brings exciting opportunities for students to benefit from joint productions, joint orchestra and choir, and eagerly-awaited broader sporting opportunities.
